I was born in the Bay Area of California, but my family moved to Reno, Nevada when I was 8 years old.
Cali-girl turned country girl, I grew up loving both nature and medicine. I always knew I would be a doctor, so I set my sights out east to Boston University. Here, I received my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering (also a calculus nerd), but I quickly learned that medicine is much more than surgeries and pharmaceuticals.
During college and after graduating, I began suffering from digestive issues, which were then accompanied by anxiety and depression. Modern medicine (colonoscopies, prescription drugs) did not help me. Diet change and lifestyle changes helped me. After 6 months of working in a clean room fabricating lasers, I went on to attend medical school in Arizona to study all types of medicine – naturopathic, alternative, and integrative –at SCNM.
Today I see many young adults suffering from the same issues I had also suffered from. Prevention is the best medicine – together, I will work with you to accomplish your health goals and become the healthiest version of yourself! I treat all conditions with modern and natural alternatives such as Nutrition, Acupuncture, and Botanicals, and many more modalities.
In my free time, I love to go rock climbing, play guitar, hike, and travel to Lake Tahoe with my boyfriend and our chocolate lab, Gus!
